An Exciting New York Summer Begins June 3rd, 2010
From BBQs to environmentally-friendly home design to ceremonies in Rockefeller Plaza, Mohawk is covering all bases this summer in a star-studded lineup of events all taking place in Manhattan, New York.
Starting June 3rd, Mohawk will be making big noise in the Big Apple in collaboration with some of the largest lifestyle magazines around like Country Living, House Beautiful, and SAVEUR.
Our red-carpet schedule was full of celebrity chefs, amazing food, and of course, incredible flooring. See the festivities - here was our 2010 NY summer at a glance:
~Country Living 2010 House of the Year~
Does a country cottage with a wraparound porch located in the center of a bustling city sound slightly out-of-place?
Country Living Magazine looks to shake things up by building "The Hudson", its 2010 House of the Year in lower Manhattan's World Financial Center.
Mohawk is proud to be a part of the Country Living "Home Green Home" project which will unveil June 3rd and be open to the public June 4th through June 17th.
This LEED-certified, energy-conscious house will showcase green products and features in every room as well as be available to purchase!
~House Beautiful 2010 Kitchen of the Year~
Beginning July 19th through July 23rd, House Beautiful Magazine will present the 2010 Kitchen of the Year with Flipping Out’s Jeff Lewis.
Taking a break from the stress of rebuilding and reselling real estate on Bravo TV, Lewis will unveil his dream kitchen design in Rockefeller Plaza in conjunction with the Tastes of Summer series.
As a leader in providing superior design options for the kitchen of your dreams, we at Mohawk are honored to be included in the Kitchen of the Year showcase. In what is sure to be one of the most flavorful culinary gatherings all year, SAVEUR magazine will be hosting their 1st annual Summer BBQ featuring an amazing collection of celebrity chefs in attendance.
In addition to enjoying some scrumptious spareribs, Mohawk will also be on hand to provide one of the "signature" moments for the chefs during this outing. As we can say right now is that it involves our beautiful and resilient SmartStrand with DuPont Sorona carpet- and that you will not want to miss this!
